AS Monaco midfielder Cesc Fabregas has appeared to have added fuel to the rumors that have been making the rounds that he could be finalizing a move to the United States Major League Soccer (MLS) in the near future with his recent activities both online and offline. The former Chelsea midfielder is currently enjoying his football at French Ligue 1 outfit Monaco but it seems like he is already planning for the future with a possible move to the MLS said to be within his sight.

After leaving Chelsea a few months ago, the Daily Mail reported that one of the options he had was to accept an offer from several MLS clubs that were showing interest in landing his signature, but just before those rumors could travel any further, Monaco offered him a three-year deal. He has since been capturing the hearts of Monaco fans at the club and has also been one of their best players all season.

Although he was unable to lead his side to the French Cup title against Paris Saint-Germain earlier this week, he has played a role in helping the club as they look to secure Champions League football ahead of next season.

United States club Inter Miami are reportedly the major club working to have a deal completed for the former Barcelona midfielder but he may not be heading to the David Beckham-owned club anytime soon.

He could stay behind and play a role in Monaco’s Champions League campaign if they qualify for the competition and spend at least one more year with the club before eventually engineering a move away. In his recent activity online, the Spanish midfielder liked a post on Instagram that was linking him with a move to the United States, adding more speculations to his rumored intention to join a MLS outfit.
